All three TJ Speed drivers placed in the top 10 at the USF Pro Championships Spring Training

PITTSBORO, Ind.
– Coming together just a few weeks ago, the potent TJ Speed USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire program finalized their Grand Prix of St. Petersburg driver lineup. The already-announced David Morales will be joined by open-wheel champion Hunter Yeany and the most recent New Zealand Grand Prix winner Liam Sceats.

“It took a while to come together but happy to finally confirm our driver lineup for St. Pete,” explained TJ Speed’s Tim Neff. “We wanted to put the strongest group of competitors together, and I think we got that in David, Hunter and Liam.”

Working together as a trio for the first time at the USF Pro Championships Spring Training at NOLA Motorsports Park, Morales topped the results sheets in Test Session four, while all three TJ Speed branded drivers had their hand in the top-10 throughout the two-day test. Entering their sophomore season in the USF Pro 2000 program, TJ Speed is ready to fight for the title after wins and podiums in 2023.

Neff continued, “The competition level this season is high, and it can be anyone’s championship to win. St. Pete always adds the variable of being a temp circuit lined with barriers, but I think a good start here can yield benefits later this season.”

With a schedule that will see four on-track sessions over three days alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, Morales, Yeany and Sceats will see action Friday morning for their only practice session before qualifying before lunch. The first race of the new season will go green at 11:55am on Saturday before race two hits the track first thing Sunday at 8:00am.
